Before you decide what to build, explore what's possible.

You might be considering an extension, loft conversion or major reconfiguration. Or you might simply know that your home isn't working as well as it could.

Think Spaces gives you an independent way to explore the possibilities before you commit to a design or start asking builders for prices.

A fresh pair of eyes on your home.

You don't need to arrive with a finished brief. You might have a clear idea of what you want, several competing ideas, or simply a problem you haven't worked out how to solve.

I start by understanding how your home works now, what isn't working, what you're trying to achieve and the assumptions already shaping your thinking.

Then I look at the space independently, drawing on over 35 years of construction and design experience to explore what might be possible.

The important thing is that you come away with greater clarity: a better understanding of your home, what you want to achieve, and a stronger basis for deciding what to do next.

No two homes or households are the same, so no two Living Plans need to be the same. Yours is shaped around your home, what you're trying to achieve and what will actually help you move forward.

It might bring together recommendations, alternative ways of using the space, illustrative floor plans, practical considerations, or options for phasing the work around your budget.

You won't get more than you need. You'll get what is useful to you.

‍ ‍ Start with a conversation

Every project is different, so I don't ask you to choose from a list of packages.

We'll start with a free initial conversation about your home, what's not working, what you're hoping to achieve and anything you've already considered or been told.

From there, I'll explain how I think I can help, what would be useful for your project and what that would involve. You'll have a clear, fixed price before you decide whether to go ahead.

Based in Sheffield. I work with homeowners across Sheffield and the surrounding area in person, and can also work remotely with projects further afield.
